In this Paris Olympics, we have seen many fresh faces along with the champion’s comeback with surprises. Most of the feathers of the USA’s crown were gifted by the women’s team of the USA. Missing any single event means almost missing some surprises. After a leg injury, American Women’s gymnastics time favorite and most decorated sportsperson Simone Biles made her comeback and surprised the audiences with an outstanding triple-double and Yurchenko double pike.
Still, now USA won 12 medals in Paris so far. And among these women’s teams won over nine medals including USA’s 2 gold. One gold was earned by Lee Kiefer in individual foil fencing and another one was achieved by Torri Huske in the 100-meter butterfly. In that event, Gretchen Walsh secured the second position here and won the silver medal.
Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook won the Olympic silver medal in the women’s 3-meter synchronized springboard diving event.
Nic Fink tied for silver with Great Britain’s Adam Peaty in the 100-meter men’s breaststroke. Japan and Australia tied with four gold medals for each, hence the Americans’ win over most of the Paris Olympics medals. Each of the United States played outstanding even under huge pressure.
